A Day of Support for Moms and Kids in Durham

Uplift Laundry Truck and Her PLAN are coming together to host a special event in Durham dedicated to providing free laundry services for pregnant women and moms with small children. This event will take place on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am to 2 pm at The Wash House 3700 Fayetteville Street in Durham.

In addition to free laundry services, we are also looking to recruit a barber and a face-painting artist to provide complimentary haircuts and face-painting for children. HerPlan is seeking donations in the form of diaper and wipes, kid-friendly arts and crafts, snacks, and laundry supplies. At the event, only dye-free ALL laundry pods will be used to ensure the safety of our littlest neighbors' sensitive skin.
