Confirmation

At Holy Infant, confirmation preparation takes place at TYM, our high school youth group that meets at 6:30 pm on Sunday evenings during the school year. All teens, regardless of where they attend high school, are required to participate in TYM for two years to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at Holy Infant. They may begin the process in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.

In the Diocese of Raleigh, preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year process that should be completed in the faith community where your family attends Mass. At TYM, our teens learn about their faith while connecting with their peers, participating in service opportunities, and spending time in small group discussions. TYM is open to all high schoolers, including teens who aren’t sure if they would like to be Confirmed and teens who have already received the Sacrament.
