Junior Youth Ministry (JYM)- Middle School

JYM (Junior Youth Ministry) at Holy Infant Catholic Church is a vibrant middle school program (6th - 8th grade) centered on faith, fellowship, and service to the community. Each JYM night is intentionally structured to reflect the rhythm of the Mass. The evening begins with Gather, where teens are welcomed into a fun, high-energy environment, often featuring an exciting game that builds community and sets a joyful tone. This leads into Proclaim, the teaching portion of the night, where core aspects of the Catholic faith are presented in a way that is relevant and accessible to middle schoolers.

Afterward, students move into Break, small group discussions where they can dive deeper, ask questions, and build authentic friendships. The night concludes with Send, a reflective prayer experience that invites students to encounter God personally and be sent forth to live out their faith in their daily lives. Through this dynamic model, JYM helps young people grow in their relationship with Christ, connect with one another, and serve others with compassion and purpose.

Note that both Family Formation and JYM have offerings for 6th graders.  The Faith Development Office will work with your family to determine the best formation program for your middle school youth. JYM meets during the school year on Sunday nights from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
