Ten teens from Holy Infant Catholic Church’s DeSales Service Works (DSW) program dedicated a full day of service to the North Carolina Diaper Bank. Their work contributed to ensuring that all families in our region have access to essential hygiene items, including diapers, wipes, and menstrual products.
Throughout the day, the group sorted and packaged thousands of diapers that will be distributed to families in need across North Carolina. Their efforts support the Diaper Bank’s mission to promote dignity and health for babies, children, and adults experiencing poverty.
This experience is part of a broader commitment by Holy Infant to engage young people in meaningful acts of service that reflect Catholic social teaching. Through DSW, teens are offered opportunities to respond to real needs in the community while deepening their faith and understanding of justice.
The team made an amazing impact and wrapped 16,200 size 5 diapers! That will cover 324 babies for one month, right here in NC!Additional DSW volunteer dates are available in July and August.
