Kids' Clothing & Gear Swap

Spring cleaning season is here, and it’s the perfect time to refresh your child’s wardrobe while sharing gently used items with other families in the community! Holy Infant Church is hosting a Kids' Clothing & Gear Swap on May 31st from 8-11 am, a true swap event where no money changes hands—just a great way to give and receive.

How It Works
Starting April 28th, you can drop off your items at the parish office during Office Hours. If you need to arrange a different drop-off time, please contact Michalene at [email protected]. We will be accepting donations through May 28th.

What to Donate
We are accepting a variety of children’s items, including:

• Clothing: Newborn through youth size 18-20, all seasons welcome
• Maternity & Nursing Clothes
• Books
• Toys (clean and functional, small parts should be placed in a labeled Ziplock bag, and instructions are a bonus!)
• Baby Gear (no expired car seats or broken equipment, please)

Quality Guidelines
We want to make sure all items are in good shape! Please check that:

• Clothing is free of stains, tears, and holes (well-loved is fine!)
• Snaps, buttons, and zippers are functional
• Toys and baby gear are in working condition
• Items are sorted by size and gender, if possible, before drop-off

The Swap Event
On swap day, donors get early access from 8:00–9:00 AM to shop for items before doors open to the public at 9:00 AM. All attendees will receive a brown paper bag at the door to fill with goodies for their families.

What Happens to Leftovers?
Any remaining clothing and gear will be donated to a local charity. If you’d like to claim any of your donated items before they are donated, please let us know before the event.

This event is a great way to refresh your child's wardrobe for free while helping out fellow parents and reducing waste.
