A two-day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) Workshop will be held on May 29th-30th, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Southwest Regional Library. This in-person, evidence-based workshop equips adults—regardless of professional background—with the skills to recognize when someone may be thinking about suicide and how to confidently intervene to help keep them safe.
ASIST is widely used around the world and is proven to increase participants’ ability to provide life-saving support. Whether you're a caregiver, teacher, faith leader, or community member, this training empowers you to respond effectively in times of crisis.
Registration is required. Open to adults from all backgrounds—no mental health experience needed
This workshop is held in person only. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
