Loving Our Neighbors

Lent invites us to slow down, reflect, and open our hearts a little wider. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to do that this season, we have a beautiful opportunity to share with you.

On February 21st, Holy Cross Catholic Church will host the Loving Our Neighbors Art Retreat, a day set aside for prayer, creativity, and connection. 

This retreat will be led by Brother Mickey McGrath, OSFS, who will guide participants through reflection and simple art activities rooted in Catholic Social Teaching. You don’t need to be an artist to participate — just come with an open heart and a willingness to reflect. Art will be used as a form of prayer and expression, helping us see familiar Gospel values in fresh ways.

The day will include time for quiet reflection, creative prayer, group conversation, and fellowship. Lunch is provided, giving us a chance to relax and connect with one another along the way.

Because this retreat is designed to be a more intimate experience, space is limited to 45 participants, so early registration is encouraged. RSVPs are due by Monday, February 16, 2026.
