Guest speaker, Heidi Gessner, is an ordained United Church of Christ minister, spiritual counselor, grief coach, and the former bereavement and palliative care chaplain at UNC Healthcare, Chapel Hill. Heidi played a pivotal role in providing solace to people approaching the end of their lives and their loved ones grappling with grief. Heidi has a new business supporting people experiencing unexpected change and loss and offers a writing group, The Pockets of Grace Writing Circle, retreats, and private coaching.
