Offering of Letters with Bread for the World

Raise your voice to oppose funding cuts to SNAP and Medicaid.

With food prices rising and now expected to get even higher, urge Congress to oppose proposed budget cuts that would significantly reduce funding for SNAP and Medicaid.

Starting May 18th, you can write your letters at home and drop them in the designated drop box at the Narthex during any Mass leading up to June 22nd.

On June 22nd, all deposited letters will be included in the Offertory procession during Mass. Following Masses, join us at the DeSales Center for a "Festival of Breads of the World" where you can sample various cultural breads brought in by parishioners.

After the campaign, the Bread for the World ministry leaders will personally deliver the letters to our local representatives. For more information on this year's focus, visit Bread for the World's website.
