As a parish community committed to living out our faith in service to others, we are proud to share the impact made through Church World Service (CWS) so far in 2025. Thanks to the generosity of congregations like Holy Infant, CWS continues to deliver essential items to individuals and families in need—offering dignity, comfort, and hope.
From January to June 2025, CWS shipped a total of 27,847 kits and blankets across the United States. These life-giving supplies included:
12,720 Hygiene Kits – providing basic toiletries to those who might otherwise go without
6,610 Blankets – offering warmth to those in shelters or struggling with homelessness
4,380 School Kits – ensuring children are equipped to learn
2,747 Period Packs – supporting women’s health with dignity
1,332 Cleanup Buckets – aiding families recovering from natural disasters
58 Welcome Backpacks – greeting newcomers with essential supplies
One recipient shared, “Toothpaste and soap are so expensive, and this really helps me a lot. Thank you for sharing with me.” Another supporter reflected, “Our youth wanted to help, so they hosted a CWS Blanket Sunday. It made me realize how small actions of love can make a big difference.”
Let us be inspired by these words and acts of compassion. Whether you donate supplies, support financially, or offer prayers—every gesture brings Christ’s love to those who need it most.
