Solar is Coming to Holy Infant in 2024

We are happy to announce that we will be installing solar energy at the church in the Spring of 2024. Due to directed donations (not part of the offertory), we can make this great leap forward.

Why go solar?

1) Saves Money. Producing our own solar energy saves money each month on the electricity bill.

2) Avoid Raising Energy Bills. As utility rates rise over time, our solar savings will protect us from higher electric bills.

3) Solar Incentives. We will receive a 30% rebate on the cost of the solar system with the Federal Direct Pay solar reimbursement for nonprofits and are locked into the highest rate of credit/reimbursement from Duke.

4) Environmental Stewardship. Generating renewable solar energy reduces pollution, supports our community, and helps demonstrate our commitment to caring for the environment.

By permanently reducing utility bills through solar savings, we can direct more of our congregation’s funds toward our church’s mission.
