One of the focuses at Holy Infant is Salesian hospitality. This virtue of hospitality was the pinnacle value Debbie brought to the parish office.
Father Robert would fondly call Debbie the "face of the parish". Visitors and parishioners were greeted by her friendly smile and helpful nature when arriving at the office. Debbie was our go-to person in the office. She could answer almost any question, and if she didn't know the answer she knew who would. Debbie handled every situation with grace and love, regardless of nature. Her kindness and genuine care for our parishioners was evident in her work.
We are incredibly grateful for the years she gave to Holy Infant on staff and very lucky to keep her as a parishioner. "Debbie has always been willing to step in and serve the parish in whatever capacity she can, whether that is as a staff member or parishioner." shared Michalene, Director of Catechetical Leadership. "Debbie has always been able to anticipate what the needs of the parish would be, and act on them accordingly. Her welcome presence will be sorely missed!"
We honor Debbie's years of excellent service to our parish and celebrate the legacy of hard work and commitment she leaves behind. Her presence in the office will truly be missed, as she has always been a source of guidance, support, and laughter for all of us. Debbie's professionalism, kindness, and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on all of us. As she embarks on this new chapter of life, we hope she takes time to relax, explore new passions, and enjoy the little things that retirement has to offer.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. -Numbers 6:24-26
