Leah Breindel is joining Holy Infant Parish staff as our part-time Liturgical Ministries Assistant.
Leah comes most recently from Elon University where she served with the Catholic Campus Ministry for six years; first as a Student Ministry Coordinator and then as Assistant Director. Her favorite parts of Elon were the staff she got to work with, the students she met and walked with; Michalene being one of those students, and the Elon sunsets. Recently she has moved to Chapel Hill in search of more young adult community which she has found in spades at the Catholic Community of St. Thomas More and in the Chapel Hill area.
She’s a North Carolina native, having grown up in Goldsboro, NC most of her life, and is very fond of Raleigh having attended NC State. Always down for spontaneous adventures, spur-of-the-moment meet-ups, and good, long conversations with friends, she enjoys being out in nature and spending intentional time with friends.
A long-time lover of Chick-fil-A, Taylor Swift, coffee, and Fall, Leah is excited to be back in the world of ministry, taking in the life of the Parish for the first time as a young adult, and being involved in the behind-the-scenes of what makes liturgy run well.
