August 3, 2026Holy Infant is pleased to host a Braver Angels Debate on Wednesday, August 12th, inviting members of our community to engage in thoughtful, respectful dialogue on an important public issue.
Unlike traditional debates, Braver Angels events are designed to help participants move beyond political soundbites and better understand one another's perspectives. Whether you choose to simply listen or share your own thoughts, you'll experience a welcoming environment where civil discourse and mutual respect take center stage.
The evening's debate resolution is:
"Democratic Socialism would decrease prosperity in the U.S."
Speakers will present arguments both in favor of and against the resolution. It's important to note that this topic does not represent Braver Angels' position, but serves as a starting point for meaningful discussion.
