Advocacy is part of our Christian witness and discipleship. With your support, Bread for the World is committed to speaking truth to power. On May 7th at 9:45 am join Lloyd Schmeidler, long-time advocate with Bread for the World, and other interested parishioners to learn more about this Christian advocacy organization that urges U.S. decision-makers to do all they can to pursue a world without hunger. The meeting will be held in the Hospitality Room in the DeSales Center.


One in four children under five are severely malnourished. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Every voice matters. With your help, we can reach the people with the power and resources to make hunger a problem of the past.

Bread for the World’s mission to help end hunger in the U.S. and worldwide is put into action through ongoing advocacy efforts.
