Remember that our Bread for the World’s 2025 Offering of Letters invites us to ask our U.S. senators and representatives to call for the immediate restoration of lifesaving foreign aid and secure essential funding for global nutrition programs, and to fully fund and strengthen the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC). 

A sample letter that you could personalize is available online here.. A dropbox is available at the Welcome Table in the narthex to accept your letters. Please note that letters placed in the dropbox do NOT need to be in an envelope, as they will be delivered personally to local Congressional offices in the last week of June. 

Our Offering of Letters “season” will culminate on June 22nd, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ, with a “Festival of Breads of the World” after Mass in the DeSales Center, where we’ll have a final opportunity to write letters.
