National Farmworker Awareness Week: March 25-31, 2025

Dear Friends of CMFN,

Walk with us as we walk with the numerous men & women agricultural workers whose presence among us is a sign of HOPE for these critical times.

Farmworkers feed the world. 85% of our fresh fruits and vegetables are handpicked. There are an estimated 2.5-3 million men, women, and children who work in the fields in the United States.

Catholic Social Teaching asserts that “The person is not only sacred but also social. How we organize our society—in economics and politics, in law and policy—directly affects human dignity and the capacity of individuals to grow in community.”

Walk with us as we walk with the men, women and migrant farmworker families who bring renewed faith, hope, care for others and care for our common home to Church and society.
