New Stephen Ministers Commissioned

Holy Infant is celebrating a joyous occasion on February 8th at the 11:30 Mass, as seven people in our parish are commissioned into Stephen Ministry, a special ministry of care and concern, which brings our total to 26 active. 

This culminates a period of extensive training and preparation for caring ministry. Holy Infant also prepared 15 Stephen Ministers from five other Christian churches in the Durham-Chapel Hill area. After the commissioning, our Stephen Ministers will be assigned to provide care to those in our parish and community going through difficulties in life. We thank God for their gifts and ask that you keep these people in your prayers as they carry the love of Christ to those who need it.
