Our parish 55+ group has launched!

Many ideas were shared by the enthusiastic forty people at our brainstorming session last month. A core team was formed and met to select a few activities for the summer. Our next gathering will be a Potluck Social on Friday, May 19 at 6:30 PM in the DeSales Center. All those over 55 are welcome. Lemonade and water will be provided. (You are welcome to bring your own beer or wine.)

Other potential summer events include a Potluck Breakfast (June 11); Durham Bulls Game (June 25); Friday Evening Salad Bar & Special ? Activity  (July 21); Parish Picnic (August 26).  There will also be some interest groups forming, such as a walking group and card & game groups. We will also be deciding whether to call ourselves the 55+ Group or select a new name.
