The Holy Infant Refugee Resettlement Team is dedicated to providing aid and support to refugee families in need. A series of recent executive orders issued by our new administration not only significantly impacted those being served here in the U.S. and around the world, but also our ability to serve them.
These orders cut off promised federal funding, effective immediately, for the most basic assistance for families acutely suffering and in need of food, shelter, medical care, and more. This includes many refugee families who we have already welcomed here in our communities.
Despite these obstacles, we remain committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those affected. We are working closely with local agencies, such as World Relief and Church World Service, to explore alternative avenues of assistance and support.
If you share our passion for helping refugee families and would like to get involved, we invite you to reach out to us at the Parish Office.
