Each October, the Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life. During the month, we are asked to reflect more deeply on the dignity of each human life. The USCCB theme for this year is: Life: Our Sign of Hope. The theme reflects the ongoing Jubilee Year of Hope. Through the gift of our Baptism, Our Lord Jesus Christ calls us to be members of his body, thereby demonstrating the invaluable dignity of the human person. This mystery invites us to be witnesses to the hope of the resurrection by promoting and defending the precious gift of life.
To celebrate the Sanctity of Life at Holy Infant, our parishioners are invited to help support the ministries of Pregnancy Support Services, our local crisis pregnancy center, Room at the Inn (a maternity home for homeless women and their children in Greensboro), and UPLIFT Laundry, which provides free laundry services, diapers, and wipes to families in need in our area.
Parishioners are invited to purchase one (NEW) item from one of the lists below.
The purchased items will be brought back UNWRAPPED to any Mass you attend on Respect Life Weekend, October 4/5. Gifts will be collected outside (weather permitting) as you enter for Mass
