Holy Infant embraces those who can't be present at Mass by sending Eucharistic Ministers to them directly from the liturgy. In this way, there is a visible and tangible link between the assembly and those who are sick or homebound.
We bring the Church to people who cannot physically come to church. In this way, the sick and homebound are united to the Body of Christ present in our community.
We continue the healing and compassionate ministry of Jesus, as members of His Body. It is always in Jesus’ Name that we visit. The EMOCs share both the Word and the Eucharist with those they visit and therefore share with them the mystery that makes us one.
If you have questions on how to become involved or know of someone who would benefit from the receiving end of this ministry, please reach out to Lynn Sale at [email protected].
All liturgical ministers are registered parishioners, confirmed, and in good standing. Our guidelines conform to the theological and liturgical principles in the diocesan guidelines.
