October 10, 2024Holy Infant parishioners are being very generous in supporting the hurting people of Western Carolina by providing for their physical needs. We also know that the emotional needs of people impacted by the hurricane are great. Our experience during the pandemic showed us the value of Caring Calls when Stephen Ministers called our parishioners to listen to their struggles and offer emotional support.
Caring calls are beyond the usual scope of a Stephen Ministry caring relationship, which is in-person, and face-to-face, but Stephen Ministers are trained to be compassionate listeners, and we want to be available in this time of crisis.
If you or someone you know could benefit by having a CARING CALL from a compassionate listener, please contact Lynn Sale in the parish office. You could also leave the name and number of the person at the Welcome Desk after Mass.
