Please welcome Fr. Iacona, who will speak at all the Masses on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach, which was founded to forge a stronger and more supportive link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns serving the poor in the Caribbean, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America
Fr. Frank Iacona was born in Montelepre, Sicily. His family left for a better life to Canada then to the U.S. He grew up in Detroit and began his professional career as a teacher, lawyer, and CPA. His career path led to the “good life”, but he hungered for more, leading him to the city of Indianapolis working with the poor, seniors, and widows.
Fr. Iacona was ordained in 2002 and is a priest in the Diocese of St. George’s-in-Grenada. As an itinerant preacher, he raises funds for the poor and tries to awaken Christ in those in the pews. His guide and spiritual quest: Peace and joy, by affirming and giving thanks for the blessings in each of us. As it is said, “No God, no peace. Know God, know peace. To know God, look for the good in you and others.”
