Deacon Tom and Judy Hill have been married for forty-three years of forever. They were lifelong residents of Bartholomew County in south-central Indiana until February 2022 when they moved from Columbus, IN to Chapel Hill, NC. They have two sons. Ben, Lisa (wife), and daughters Noelle (12) and Gabrielle (6) live in Pittsboro, NC. Dan, Angie (wife), and daughters Makenna (9) and Alice (6) reside in Chapel Hill.
Deacon Tom was baptized into the Catholic faith when he was nine days old. He received a catholic education from St. Columba Grade School and the Latin School of Indianapolis; then, attended Ball State University and IUPU-Columbus pursuing interests in journalism and business management. Deacon Tom was accepted into the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Permanent Deacon Formation Program in August 2008. He was ordained a permanent deacon on June 23rd, 2012 by Bishop Christopher Coyne and assigned to St. Joseph Parish in Shelby County, Indiana where he served until January 2022.
Deacon Tom is employed full-time as a Sr. Sales Executive. His interests include Scripture study, writing, reading, fishing, college basketball, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Indianapolis Colts. His favorite saints are Mother Mary, Paul, Augustine, and Mother Teresa.
